Product Description

Bomb Blast Window Film

BRITISH and EU STANDARDS CERTIFICATION:

  • BS 6206 (6 and 4mm glass): A
  • BS EN 12600 (6 and 4mm glass): 1B

Safety film is a clear high quality polyester film designed to make glass safer, both by strengthening it against breakage and by containment of dangerous shards in situations where breakage does occur.

The film provides a protective barrier by holding broken glass in place, thus reducing the injuries and damage that could otherwise occur, and in some cases might contain flying masonry.

These films can be used on most glass surfaces, including double glazed units.

Installation
The film is applied using a soapy water solution and a hard squeegee. The process is relatively easy for small panes, but as it is quite thick it is more difficult to apply on large panes of glass.

NOTE:
This film comes with a clear release liner, as opposed to our trademark paper liner available on most of our products. This makes it more difficult to mark when cutting small pieces.

Samples
Not sure whether this is the right film for your purpose? We offer free 10cm x 10cm samples. The pictures depicting the film are only for illustration purposes, so a sample is recommended to make an educated choice.

If you'd like to try a larger piece before committing to a large order, just order a small amount of film to test on a pane.

Returns and refunds
We will only accept returns for films purchased by the metre. Just send it back to us in it's original condition and packaging. We cannot accept returns for films cut to size however, as they have no resale value.
